One of Eric Tinkler's best players is attracting the attention of national team coach Molefi Ntseki with the World Cup qualifiers just on the horizon.
Bafana Bafana coach Ntseki is open to giving new players a chance in the national team when he selects his squad for the qualifiers.
There has been talk about Maritzburg United defender Rushine De Reuck as the next in line for selection based on his superb form this season.
Tinkler has said the 23-year-old is not yet ready for the test of international football and Ntseki appears to agree, with experience on the international stage a considerable factor when it comes to playing for the national team.
"Yeah I think he's doing well for himself, but we need to understand that for one to play for Bafana Bafana you need to have consistent performances," Ntseki said.
"Every game you play needs to be a quality performance coming from the player. I've been following him [De Reuck] and I think he has had very good seasons with Maritzburg United,
"But also you need to see who are the players he is competing with. What experience do they have playing at international level?"
Ntseki, who is currently travelling all over South Africa looking at different players, will look at giving players like De Reuck a chance when the time is right to build within the national team setup.
"We are not saying he's not going to be given a chance. When that time comes he will be given a chance, get a call-up and build him from inside because every player deserves a fair chance," he added.
"They deserve every opportunity to be part of Bafana Bafana. We've been following him and other players."
