Owen Da Gama is urging South Africans to support the national team no matter what Molefi Ntseki's squad looks like today.
The Bafana Bafana coach will be announcing his squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers this morning.
The announcement comes at a time when there are many players on form in the PSL. Da Gama says he trusts Ntseki to select the best squad and pleads with the football community to be patient.
"I think we need to give him time to find his feet, he's trying a few things and understand he's got a lot of players he can select from," says the Highlands Park coach.
"Whatever he's going to do, whoever he selects, there's always going to be one or two players that are not going to be there, so it's part of the job and so he must just do his best."
Ntseki has already showed signs of believing in giving every player who deserves a call-up a chance and Da Gama is confident that under him, the team will succeed.
"He must go out and do his best for the country, apply himself which I think he does very well, and I think there's a bright future with him. So we are 100 percent behind him and want him to do well."
