A France-based Bafana Bafana midfielder has used Chelsea star N’golo Kante as a reference point for where he hopes to end up in the near future.
Lebo Phiri, who plies his trade at French side Guingamp, was last season relegated from Ligue 1 and was subsequently denied a transfer back to the top-flight during the recent transfer window.
However, the 24-year-old is undeterred by the drop in level and remains adamant he still has equal opportunity to be spotted by big European clubs.
Having grown since his days at Swedish club Brondby, he has since looked at emulating the likes of Les Blues stars Kante, who moved from CM Caen to Leicester City and then Chelsea, and Mateo Guendouzi, who joined Arsenal from Lorient.
