Kobamelo Kodisang is honoured to represent Amajita in Poland and reflects on his third junior World Cup appearance at the upcoming 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
"I'm very pleased because there's many players we left behind who didn't make it to the final squad, so it's quite an honour for me and I would like to make everyone proud, especially myself," he said.
"It wasn't possible to be in this stage, I never thought I would ever play in three junior World Cups until I joined the Platinum Stars academy, which changed everything."
Kodisang also spoke about the mood in the camp and how as a team they are eager to make the country proud by performing at their level best, as the world will be watching closely.
"It's actually very good to work with these players, because everyone is welcoming, we are all equal, so we can manage to help each other throughout the tournament," he explained.
Amajita face Argentina in their first match at Tychy Stadium, and Kobamela shared his thoughts on the game and Group F, which includes South Korea and Portugal.
"I think we will do well," he said. "We have to be confident, we know it won't be easy but we are here to compete. If we can be confident enough, we can do well in all the matches."
