There seems to be plenty of promise in the future of Bafana Bafana, judging by what has been cooking with the men's national under-23 side under David Notoane.
Notoane has assembled a star-studded side to contest the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifiers, and has since proven a force on the continent.
South Africa have thus far played three fixtures in the U-23 AFCON qualification campaign, after receiving a bye in the first round, and have scored 11 goals while conceding just one.
Last Friday, Notoane's charges put five past neighbours Zimbabwe in their third-round first-leg tie at Orlando Stadium, and will on Tuesday be expected to confirm their qualification to the final showpiece set for Egypt in November.

A total of seven stars currently ply their trades in Europe, including three of the four scorers from the weekend's encounter, while 12 are currently on the books of Absa Premiership clubs and the remaining five are regulars in the national first division, now knowns as the GladAfrica Championship.
With SAFA's Vision 2022 now in it's final phase as the qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar begin in November, it will be interesting to see how Molefi Ntseki bloods some of these stars into his plans in the coming months.
