Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki is expected to field his strongest XI against Sao Tome this Friday, but here's what his most valuable XI would look like.

Bafana face back-to-back AFCON qualifiers against Sao Tome on Friday in Durban and in Port Elizabeth next Monday as they look to book their spots at the 2022 showpiece in Cameroon.

They currently sit three points behind Group C leaders Ghana, who face Sudan in back-to-back fixtures this month, and will be hoping to gain ground on their group rivals with two wins against the 182-ranked minnows.

With some of the country's finest talents both locally and internationally at his disposal, Ntseki will not be short of options for his starting line-up come Friday evening (21h00 kick-off).

Based on their market values, the likes of Percy Tau and Luther Singh are the country's most valuable assets, according to transfermarkt.com, and would lead the attacking line ahead of the likes of Kermit Erasmus and Thabiso Kutumela.

In midfield, overseas-based stars Bongani Zungu and Kamohelo Mokotjo would both command positions in the heart of the midfield, while skipper Thulani Hlatshwayo and Thapelo Morena are also among the most valuable defenders.

SuperSport United goalkeeper Ronwen Williams boasts a greater market value than Kaizer Chiefs' Itumeleng Khune and free agent Darren Keet.
