According to a source very close to Tema, the player arrives at the Rise and Shine training grounds, but only to sit on the sidelines and watch his team-mates go about their sessions.
"He [Tema] has stopped training, he wants to leave but the club still wants to keep him,” the source tells KickOff.com.
"I can confirm that he is refusing to train. He is the one who is refusing to train. It’s not like the club is sidelining him from training. He does come to training but only to watch the other players train."
Tema’s remaining contract length remains unclear, having initially penned terms with Polokwane in 2012.
This website has since attempted to contact the club's coach and team manager Bernard Molekwa, as well as chairman Johnny Mogaladi, although the pair were unavailable for comment.
