The 32-year-old joined TTM in February on a six-month contract, which had an option to extend.
However, club spokesman Livhuwani Madzuhe says the National First Division side decided against retaining the ex-Bloemfontein Celtic man.
"We released him," Madzuhe tells KickOff.com.
"It was a contract for six months. There was an option for that six months period, but we did not practice it. We need to see new blood now."
Madzuhe also says star player Monde Mpambaniso is still with the team having previously been linked with a move to the Absa Premiership.
"Monde is training with the team, we did not release him, he is there. Next week we will have a smaller press conference where will be announcing those who are joining us.
"We have already built a good relationship with Black Leopards. For now we have not received any players from Black Leopards but we sent them a request; a list for those which we feel we need from their side also, including their trialists who are coming from outside. We sent five of our players to them."
