Jonevret, 54, takes over the reins from Augusto Palacios, who was installed as caretaker boss in November last year after Muhsin Ertugral resigned in the wake of the club's then-record 6-1 defeat to SuperSport United.
“I’ll lie to you if I said I knew South African football fantastically well, but I have a few friends down here. I know [SuperSport coach] Stuart Baxter, especially when he was coach of Bafana Bafana,” said Jonevret, who has worked in his homeland and spent the past five years in Norway.
Africa Sport Youth Development Academy boss and ex-Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Legodi has replaced Bradley Carnell at Mayfair and will serve alongside Benson Mhlongo under Jonevret.
