Wome faces uncertain future

Wome spent last season on loan at Orlando Pirates, with reports suggesting Bucs hold an option to keep the midfielder on a permanent basis.

However, the Buccaneers are yet to indicate their plans for the Togo international.

SuperSport spokesman David Skhosane says the club's new coach Eric Tinkler will determine whether Wome returns to the Nedbank Cup champions.

"We have a few players that went out for loan, including Thato Mokeke from Cape Town City," says Skhosane.

"The coach will make a call to determine if the club will recall him back for next season."

United have moved to secure the services of goalkeeper Ronwen Williams and centre-back Morgan Gould, while fellow defender Michael Boxall has left the Tshwane giants as a free agent.
