Masango has joined Matsatsantsa a Pitori on a six-month loan deal from Danish side Randers, and is right in the thick of the league title chase with the Tshwane outfit.
With SuperSport currently leading the Absa Premiership race, with 25 points from 14 games, the Bafana Bafana winger is buoyed by the prospect of adding a third league title to his name.
Masango, though, expects a tough run-in as the second half of the season commences this week, and believes the title can still be won by any of the top six teams at the moment.
"Any team from the top six can win the league, you know, which makes it interesting," the 27-year-old told reporters on Monday morning.
"It's not like one team is winning the league all the time, which becomes boring because other teams aren't challenging.
"Here [in the PSL] it's competitive, and teams have improved, that's why you have teams from the top six fighting for league honours."
Reuniting with his former coach in Stuart Baxter as well as no less than six former teammates, whom he lifted the league title with twice while at Kaizer Chiefs, will undoubtedly help him settle in quicker.
"Obviously [joining my former coach and teammates] does [help a lot]... These guys are true professionals – they've always been [like that]," he added.
"Since day one at Chiefs, you could tell they are really top pros, so learning and getting advice from them is really important. They've been helpful in all aspects."
