The 21-year-old South African midfielder, whose father is of Nigerian origin, is also being chased by Baroka FC, who want to add him into their roster next season.
Ononogbu is left with only one year on his contract with TTM.
According to a source close to Ononogbu, both Matsatsantsa and Bakgaga have enquired about the availability of the player with the intention to approach TTM for his services.
"The clubs have spoken to the agent for the services of the player and the next step now is to approach his team. I guess everything formal will be done at the end of the season," the source tells KickOff.com.
Ononogbu's manager Pontsho Madumo declined to comment even though this website understands he already met with Baroka boss Khurushi Mphahlele after one of the club's matches in Pretoria a few weeks ago.
