Gwala was one of many players sacrificed by Baroka towards the end of last year, and has now quickly packed his bags and headed back to the Mother City where he previously played for FC Cape Town.
The 26-year-old had it tough in Limpopo as he sought to find his feet in the PSL, managing just two league appearances which brought no goal leading to the club’s decision to let him go.
Faeez Dulvie, the general manager at All Stars, confirms the presence of Gwala.
“He is here with us but we are yet to conclude,” he tells KickOff.com.
All Stars were beaten to Gwala’s signature by Baroka at the beginning of the season after he scored nine goals in 11 starts last term at FC Cape Town.
