Good signs for Arrows' Naicker

Transfer News

The 27-year-old SuperSport United development product didn't see any game-time last season, but played a sterling role for the club's reserve side in their MultiChoice Diski Challenge triumph.

Naicker's existing deal ends on June 30, with his agent Steve Kapeluschnik optimistic the goalkeeper will extend his stay in Durban.

"I have actually came back from KZN yesterday," Kapeluschnik tells

"I'm engaging with the club and I want him to stay, and he wants to stay, so we've been talking to them. He is happy there, so yesterday I was speaking to the club. He is happy in KZN, He is happy at Arrows.

"We are hoping that he will get some game-time next season. He is involved in pre-season and I've started engaging the club so hopefully we can agree terms, but we are speaking to them.

"We'd like him to stay, he'd like to stay, so if we agree and I hope we will ... The chairlady [Mato Madlala] has gone to Russia but I have spoken to her. He is part of the club, he is training with them for pre-season. So we are quite hopeful and positive we can agree."
