Ramatlapeng and Sikhakhane both turned out for the Bucs' MultiChoice Diski Challenge team last season, and will now be gaining further experience in the second division.

"We are happy to welcome these two boys to the club. We are very confident that they will help us in the upcoming season," Sporting boss Slungu Thobela told Pirates' website.

"I am grateful for the opportunity granted to me by both clubs. It means a lot to me and my career," Ramatlapeng added.

"The NFD is very competitive, so this is going to help me gain more experience and elevate my aspirations of becoming a professional player for Orlando Pirates' senior team.”

Ramatlapeng joined the Mayfair-based side after a successful trial at the Pirates Cup in June 2017, while Sikhakhane earned his stripes after being scouted along with Brian Hlongwa and Sandile Mthethwa at a tournament in KwaZulu-Natal in 2016.
