Rusike has led the Maritzburg attack through the two years that he has spent with the club.
Two clubs in Gauteng and one in the Middle East previously enquired about the 27-year-old's availability.
However, club boss Farook Kadodia insists Rusike is staying put after exercising an option on his contract. A new deal may also be on the cards for the Zimbabwean striker.
“He [Rusike] is not going anywhere,” says Kadodia. “We have done a two-year extension on his contract which is the option that we had so he is staying. How can we be talking about a player leaving when there is nothing on the table from whoever it is claimed is interested in him and he is still contracted to us?”
Meanwhile, the club has tied down Fortune Makaringe to a new three-year deal.
Makaringe made 19 appearances last season playing as an attacking midfielder.
