The 31 year-old former Golden Arrows workhorse managed 25 appearances in all competitions.

Also leaving is third choice goalkeeper Jean-Pierre van der Merwe, Grant Bruchhausen, Jermaine Christian, Auguston Leonard, Thapelo Mathibe, Fikru Tefera Lemessa, Lebo Ramolesa and Chris Komane.

Bruchhausen and van der Merwe were mere squad players, while Tefera, Komane and Ramolesa were signed earlier this year. Leonard, Mathibe and Christian were all sent out on loan to the first division in January.

All these developments were confirmed by club boss Brad Kaftel, who says they remain in discussions with defender Rudi Isaacs and striker Collins Mbesuma.

“Those that we are not exercising options on have already been informed,” Kaftel tells this website.

Kaftel also adds that they are also in discussion with veteran midfield duo Franklin Cale and Surprise Moriri.
