Manavhela joined the Absa Premiership side from National First Division outfit Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC in July.
However, the 25-year-old failed to displace George Chigova as the number one keeper at Rise and Shine and has now moved on.
Manavhle's agent Pontsho Madumo, of Cream Sport Management, confirmed his client's departure from the Jozef Vukusic-coached club.
"There are no hard feelings," Madumo says. "It was a mutual agreement.
"The player did enjoy his stay at Polokwane City and we thank the club for the opportunity.
"The search for a new club is on and we are busy talking to a few clubs."
City, who are third on the log with 26 points from 16 games, recently bolstered their arsenal with the signing of Zimbabwean striker Charlton Mashumba from Jomo Cosmos.
