The 27-year-old Burundian has penned a two-year contract with the promotion hopefuls.
Faty is looking to revive his career after a heart condition derailed his progress two years ago when in fine form for the Clever Boys.
He has been keeping himself fit by training in Johannesburg at Opopo Academy, whose coach Ferdinand 'Freddy' Ndi confirmed the midfielder's deal with Kings in KwaZulu-Natal.
"He signed for two years. And yes he passed his medicals," Ndi told KickOff.com.
Faty, who detailed his health struggles to this website last week, is naturally pleased to be back in the game.
"Two seasons. Feel great and thanks to God bro," he said.
