In January the centre-forward left Free State Stars for the Chilli Boys for free, citing financial and private reasons for the move, only to find out the grass is not always greener on the other side.
Now Manqele, whose contract with the Port Elizabeth-based outfit has expired, says he is still awaiting his June salary from Mpengesi.
The 31-year-old, who could be heading to Cyprus for his next move, contacted KickOff.com on Tuesday to share his troubles.
"Chippa owes me a June salary," the former Mamelodi Sundowns man said.
"I sent him a text now, he reads then blocked me. And it's not only me, he still owe some guy ama sign-on fee.
"I'm training on my own now, but got something somewhere, not local, Cyprus. [I] might go next week. [I] will confirm once everything is finalised."
Asked if he has tried to call the club's offices before coming to this website, Manqele said: "Hai, these people don't exactly give you a straight answer. Last I called their office in Cape Town, then I'm told they are still waiting for funds ... chairman says month-end, like you don't know which to believe. Even some players are owed sign-on fees."
KickOff.com made several calls to Mpengesi and MK Majodina but these went unanswered. A message was also sent to Mpengesi with no reply at the time of publishing.
