After announcing the signing of former Ajax Cape Town midfielder Travis Graham, the Citizens have confirmed that they have signed Dutchman Chris David, who will wear the number 18.
The former Dutch youth player has signed a three-year deal. The 25-year-old played for English Premier League side Fulham in 2013, as well as Dutch clubs FC Twente and FC Utrecht.
Born in Amsterdam, David scored on his Premier League debut for Fulham against Crystal Palace, but the club had already been relegated in that final match of the season.
“As a football player you always want to achieve the highest possible. I played a year in the Premier League and a second year in the Championship. I learnt a lot from all the players and no one can take that away from me. I am really excited to start playing,” he said, following the announcement that he has been signed.
