Comitis update on Majoro, Masango

Majoro's contract with the Citizens expires at the end of June 2018, with the 31-year-old striker yet to give any indication of his plans.

Comitis, however, is seemingly calm about the situation.

"I'm starting all that [Majoro negotiations] at the end of the transfer window in January. Everything will be done in January," Comitis tells

Meanwhile, the former Ajax Cape Town boss says things are a little more complicated when it comes to transfer target Masango, who is on the books of Danish side Randers FC.

The ex-Kaizer Chiefs winger had a bright start to life in Denmark in 2015 but fell out of favour when he tried to negotiate a move away. Masango spent half of last season on loan at SuperSport United where he helped the club win the Nedbank Cup.

Randers are reportedly asking R3 million for the 28-year-old's services.

"The problem is Mandla Masango is still contracted to the club in Europe," Comitis says.

"I'm sure they are willing to sell, but I don't know what the situation is there, I need to find out. Ja, we waiting for January."
