The trio were spotted chatting during Jomo Cosmos' play-offs tie with Leopards at Vosloorus Stadium.
Amakhosi chairman Kaizer Motaung recently promised to overhaul his team for next season after three straight years without silverware for the Soweto giants.
"No, Bobby found me there sitting with the premier [Limpopo's Stanley Mathabatha]," Thidiela tells KickOff.com.
"Bobby and the premier know each other, and Bobby is 'my child' so there is nothing sinister about it. That was a VIP area, everybody can sit there. How can I kill such a good team? I would be destroying my own players, I can't. You can ask him why was he there but I thought he was there to watch like other football-loving people. If there is something I need I will speak to his father - chairman to chairman, not to a son. Bobby will speak to Chief [Thidiela's son Tshifiwa]."
Mammila also says Bobby and himself were simply there to watch the game, not to discuss Doctor Khumalo or any player. Khumalo has been linked with a return to Naturena after serving as a technical director and caretaker coach at Bakgaga this past season. The Chiefs legend has stressed he respects the job he has in Limpopo, but would never turn a blind eye to Kaizer.
"(laughs) No, we were talking, we were attending a match. There's nothing much, nothing. It was just a coincidence because it happened in the same match. No, we haven't even touched that [players and Khumalo]. We haven't even spoken about that," Mammila explains.
Bobby couldn't be reached for comment.
