The 31-year-old’s contract with Cape Town City was set to expire in June, yet the club on Wednesday morning announced they had cut ties with the forward, allowing him to openly seek a new job in the new year.
SuperSport United have reportedly shown interest in the former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates striker, yet according to a source close to Majoro, the player's representative has had contact with Wits in the last few days, with a view to bring him to Johannesburg in January.
"There are two clubs interested in Major,” said the source.
"Both SuperSport and Wits are interested. However, Wits look likely to land him.”
Majoro netted 11 goals in 41 appearances in his year-and-a-half with the Citizens across all competitions.
