The striker has joined Bakgaga as a free agent after being released by Kaizer Chiefs recently and receiving his clearance this week.
Macha is the second player to join the Limpopo-based side in less than a week after the club signed midfielder Gift Motupa on loan from Orlando Pirates.
The Zambian's agent Mike Ngobeni confirmed the move.
"Macha has just signed with Baroka," Ngobeni tells KickOff.com. "Its a two-year deal."
After scoring the winner in the 2016 Carling Black Label Cup against Soweto rivals Pirates, Macha was unable to make his mark at Chiefs.
When he arrived Amakhosi were desperately looking for someone who would take on the responsibility of scoring goals regularly, but he struggled to make the 18-man match day squad as coach Steve Komphela preferred the likes of Bernard Parker, Gustavo Paez and at one stage Michelle Katsvairo, who will be loaned out.
Macha made eight appearances in all competitions during the 2016/2017 campaign, three of which were starts. He left Amakhosi without a goal in an official game.
