Chiefs this week announced Cele was one of seven players that have been off-loaded prior to their contracts expiring at Naturena.
However, the 24-year-old may have a new home as early as next week.
"Look, we are speaking to Golden Arrows, Maritzburg United and Royal Eagles,’’ Cele's representative Lizwe Mthethwa told KickOff.com.
"There is plenty of interest but nothing has been finalised now but it is just talks.
"We will confirm where Cele is going early next week."
Cele, who came through AmaZulu's development structures, failed to feature for Amakhosi in 2015/16, having started just three games on loan at Moroka Swallows the season before.
The KwaMashu-born player made his debut for Chiefs as a substitute against University of Pretoria in December 2013. Cele started one other match in the CAF Confederation Cup against ASEC Mimosas in 2014 before he was farmed out to Swallows.
