Three more Covid cases at PSL club

PSL Lockdown News

Stellenbosch FC have confirmed that three of their staff members have tested positive for Covid-19.

Stellies also announced that all their players have tested negative after the first round of mandatory PSL testing.

The club did not release the names of the staff members who contracted the disease but said in a statement:

"After obtaining this information we can now assist the individuals to recover as safely and speedily as possible as well as mitigate the risk of exposure to other employees.

"The three members are doing well and are now self-isolating at home."

The news comes fresh after Bloemfontein Celtic announced on Monday that midfielder Given Mashikinya has also tested positive for Covid.

Orlando Pirates midfielder Ben Motshwari was the first PSL player to contract Covid-19 back in early May. He has since made a full recovery.
