Moroka Swallows are back and ready to fly again.
This is the bold statement that was made by new club boss David Mogashoa, who has bought the NFD status of Maccabi FC in a bid to revive the Dube Birds.
Mogashoa is waiting for the PSL to complete the process of renaming the club and revive the old days that made Swallows one of the biggest teams in the country.
Speaking in an interview with KickOff.com, Mogashoa confirmed that he will keep Zeca Marques as the permanent head coach and he will be assisted by Jack Wanga, while Aubrey Mathibe will remain as the goalkeeper coach.
"We are keeping the entire team. No one is leaving including the players. Zeca Marques is the head coach and I will be meeting with him today with the rest of the technical team. I will also keep Norman Allan as an advisor," said Mogashoa.
"We are still in the process of renaming the club as Moroka Swallows and hopefully it will be completed soon."
The Dube Birds are set to keep Dobsonville Stadium as their home venue for the coming season.
