Questions are being raised after the PSL head of legal, Michael Murphy has reportedly resigned, to join PSL prosecutor Nande Becker in leaving the organisation.
Murphy has reportedly handed in his resignation with immediate effect to leave the league reeling after numerous departures of its legal department.
The departure is a major blow for the league and comes at a crucial time with pending disciplinary cases against numerous high-profile clubs and individuals.

According to reputable sources within the PSL, Murhpy had cut a frustrated figure for a number of years. With the impending case regarding Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs' request to postpone the league due to a Covid-19 crisis is allegedly causing great disharmony within the PSL.
His departure will come as a great blow to chairman Irvin Khoza who relied heavily on Murphy's legal expertise in the operating of the organisation.
Coincidently, the PSL executive committee is believed to have held an emergency meeting on Monday to deliberate Chiefs' urgent request to postpone their December fixtures.
The request could have an overriding effect on the rest of the league, with their next match an away trip to Golden Arrows, which they again look set to miss.
Stuart Baxter's side had failed to honour their fixture against Cape Town City on Saturday after reporting 31 positive cases of Covid-19 which has caused much disconcertion for the PSL.
Murphy was appointed as the head of the PSL's legal division back in January 2016. At the time of his appointment PSL chairman Irvin Khoza said: "Mr Murphy has a solid track record. He joins the PSL at a very crucial stage and during a period where the League needs the competence of someone of his pedigree."
In his personal bio, Murphy describes himself as "a lawyer with 30 years post qualification experience, specialising in all aspects of the law as it impacts sport for the past 20 or so years".
Becker had been with the league for approximately eight years with his abrupt departure also with immediate effect now pointing towards a possible greater issue within the PSL's hierarchy.
