Wayne Arendse's agent says the defender is not far from finding a new team as they have engaged with a few interested clubs.
Arendse was released by Mamelodi Sundowns in December 2020 together with Anthony Laffor, who has since joined Chippa United.
Ashley Rasool, who represents the 36-year-old veteran from Cape Town, says they are waiting for the CAF Champions League winner to make a call on which club he would like to join.
"On Wayne there's nothing [concrete] yet my brother, he is training with a personal trainer at the moment," Rasool tells KickOff.com.
"The transfer window opened on Friday if I'm not mistaken [Monday]. A lot of teams were still busy with the weekend round of matches, and now [midweek]. So possibly after this we will get a direction.
"We chatted to a few clubs but obviously it's up to Wayne now to make a decision on which club he wants to explore. There's no rush. We will wait for the midweek round of games to pass."
The former Santos man spent eight years at Sundowns and won five league titles as well as several other cups.
