Royal AM set for DStv Prem move?

The PSL looks set for another sensational ownership shakeup as Royal AM have sold their club status, with plans set on a move to the DStv Premiership.

Tshakuma Tsha Madzhivhandila FC announced on Saturday that they have made a PSL comeback by purchasing the status of GladAfrica CHampionship side Royal AM.

Royal AM owner Shauwn Mkhize looks set to finally get her wish of competing in the DStv Premiership after a protracted courtroom saga after missing out on promotion last season.

An agreement to purchase the status of Bloemfontein Celtic is believed to be completed with only outstanding documentation to be ratified by the PSL.

While TTM owner, Lawrence Mulaudzi who as recently as last season sold the club's DStv Premiership status, has taken a second bite at ownership in the PSL.

"We are delighted to announce that Tshakuma Tsha Madzhivhandila Football Club has of 13 August 2021 acquired the status of Royal AM in the GladAfrica Championship league," a TTM statement read

"Thus, Royal AM Football Club will change its name to Tshakuma Tsha Madzhivhandila Football Club and will relocate to Thohoyandou Stadium."
