Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila FC have signed former AmaZulu, Platinum Stars and Chippa United goalkeeper Mbongeni Mzimela.

Mzimela was released by the Chilli Boys during pre-season and has been searching for a club ever since.

Now after reaching a settlement agreement with the Port Elizabeth side, the 34-year-old has penned a deal with TTM for the new season.

"Yes it's true, he is very keen [to play for us]. We've got two goalkeepers so we'll need an extra one," TTM chairman Lawrence Mulaudzi tells KickOff.com.

The newly named GladAfrica Championship (National First Division) kicks off this coming weekend.
