KickOff.com has gathered that DStv Premiership outfit TS Galaxy are lining up a replacement signing for defender Bevan Fransman.
The 37-year-old defender parted ways with Galaxy at the end of last season, leaving a massive gap in the club central defence as he managed 20 starts and captained the side through the middle of the campaign.
The Rockets are now understood to be preparing to sign highly-rated Bosnia and Herzegovina defender Igor Makitan to bolster their backline ahead of the start of the 2021/22 season.
According to a source close to the Mpumalanga-based side, Makitan has already started training with the club as the two parties iron out the deal.
"Makitan has been highly recommended. The club is currently assessing him. They have been impressed so far," says the source.
"He is set to be unveiled soon, depending on how the negotiations over his contract pan out."
The 26-year-old has previously only played in his homeland, where he last played for FK Krupa in the Prva Liga RS, which is the second tier in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
