TS Galaxy star Karabo Tshepe has been ruled out for the rest of the 2020/21 season due to a bad knee injury.
Tshepe arrived at Galaxy at the beginning of the season following his fall out with Black Leopards at the end of last season.
After only making four appearances in the DStv Premiership this season, the 32-year-old will not play any part in the business end of the campaign.
"I've just done an operation after the injury I sustained last year, but I made it worse when I continued to play with it," the winger tells KickOff.com.
"Maybe end of May I will be removing the brace and start my rehab. It's been three weeks now since I did the operation. So Ja, I will be out for two months.
"I aggravated it at the gym, and made it worse during our first-round game against Arrows. So, from there that's where I started feeling a discomfort and I relaxed a bit, always attending to a physio, not aware that an operation was needed.
"I will be okay though, they have already repaired the damage. So actually, I will only start playing again next season."
