Galaxy playing for R3.5-million bonus

Galaxy players and technical staff are set to share half of the R7-million Nedbank Cup prize money if they beat Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.

The Mpumalanga-based National First Division side are already guaranteed R2.5-million for reaching the final that will be played at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Rockets, who only started professionally in the 2018/19 season after owner Tim Sukazi bought the status of Cape Town All Stars, beat the likes of Jomo Cosmos, Cape Umoya United and Golden Arrows on their way to the final.
