AmaZulu look set to retain the services of interim head coach Brandon Truter on a permanent basis for next season.

Truter has made an impressive start since replacing the outgoing Benni McCarthy for the remainder of the season at Usuthu.

According to sources close to Usuthu, the club could look to recall former coach Allan Freese as part of a future technical team next.

"There have been discussions. For continuity, the club is set to retain the services of head coach Brandon Trutter for next season," the source reveals to KickOff.

"Coach Allan Freese is also one of the coaches earmarked to bolster their technical team next season."

AmaZulu are also expected to sign SuperSport United striker Thamsanqa Gabuza to bolster their attacking options.
