Rantie pitches up at another PSL club

Former Bafana Bafana striker Tokelo Rantie has arrived at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila for an assessment.

Rantie arrived at Vhadau Vha Damani on Wednesday and is set for his first training session with the team this afternoon.

The former striker has been moving around from club to club looking for employment ever since he was let go by Mamelodi Sundowns in January last year.

He was recently reported to be on his way to Eswatini to join Mbabane Highlanders, but that move could not materialise.

Besides English Premier League side Bournemouth, Rantie has also represented respected clubs like Genclerbirligi, Orlando Pirates and Cape Town City.

With TTM's current strikers firing blanks, the 30-year-old could be a perfect match as he could help revive the bottom club on the DStv Premiership table.

Contacted for comment, TTM media officer Livhuwani Madzuhe confirms the top striker's arrival at the club.

"Ya he's back, he's around saying he wants to resume his career," Madzuhe tells KickOff.com.

"So we are assessing him. He's been here since yesterday. He has not yet started training. I think today they are going to train in the afternoon."
