Cape Town City head coach Eric Tinkler has encouraged his side to get back to winning ways in a challenging away trip to Swallows FC after a disappointing derby defeat at the weekend.
The Citizens were stunned by a 3-0 loss to an undefeated Stellenbosch FC side as Tinkler tasted his first defeat of the season.
The 51-year-old - in his second spell in Cape Town - has now demanded a response against Swallows on Friday.
"Obviously we want to bounce back from the loss against Stellenbosch," Tinkler said.
"It was a disappointing performance, especially how we conceded the goals which is obviously an area we worked on this week.
"Looking to improve our defensive strategy, and then trying to bring positiveness to the team. By showing them where we've done positive things so far this season.
"Where we've put on good performances so far this season and we need to replicate that against Swallows.
Tinkler added that Friday's opponents posed an unknown threat after undergoing a recent coaching change.
"It's going to be a tough away from home, there's obviously been a coaching change there as well so preparation has been a bit difficult.
"As we're not sure as to what the new coach is going to bring in, but we need to get back to winning ways.
"Swallows are standing in our way, so we've got to go there with a positive mindset, a good work ethic and try and secure the three points."
Kick-off is at 17:00.
