Orlando Pirates midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch is set to return to court on November 13.
Lorch was arrested last month on allegations of assault against his girlfriend in Midrand.
The 27-year-old midfielder was later charged with assault with the intent to cause bodily harm before being released on R2 000 bail.
National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane has confirmed that Lorch was back in court on Tuesday but his case was postponed again to November 13.
"Yes, he did appear in court but his case has been postponed again [for his legal team] to apply for representation," Mjonondwane tells KickOff.com.
Lorch could return to the Pirates squad tonight when they take on Stellenbosch FC in their next DStv Premiership match at Orlando Stadium (19h30).
