As the year draws to a close, KickOff.com reviews the best coaches of 2020 based on their league results achieved this year.
While it is rare to see football clubs retain the services of one coach through a calendar year in the modern era, three clubs can boast having employed the same person for the entire Premiership schedule over the past 12 months.
Orlando Pirates' Josef Zinnbauer, Cape Town City's Jan Olde Riekerink and SuperSport United's Kaitano Tembo are the only coaches to have remained with one club this year.
Among those we've lost to our local shores includes Pitso Mosimane, who left Mamelodi Sundowns for Egyptian heavyweights Al Ahly before the start of the current DStv Premiership campaign.
'Jingles' still manages to make the top 15 list despite missing out on the eight rounds of games that have been played thus far, coming in at number five.

After joining Sundowns to help replace Mosimane, Steve Komphela – defined by the club as the 'senior coach' alongside co-coaches Manqoba Mngqithi and Rhulani Mokwena – sees only Golden Arrows' previous results allocated to his own head coach record.
Meanwhile, despite only joining the big boys in the top-flight in October, Swallows FC boss Brandon Truter also broke into the top 15 tacticians of 2020.
Among those who worked in the PSL this year but did not crack the list are Clinton Larsen (12pts), Thoka Matsimela (11pts), Norman Mapeza (8pts), Joel Masutha (8pts), Dan Malesela (7pts) and Josef Vukusic (4pts).
