PSL charges Baroka coach

The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that its disciplinary committee has charged one of Baroka’s technical team members.

Thoka Matsimela, who was sitting in as coach while Wedson Nyirenda was waiting to get his work permit, has been charged with contravening the NSL compliance manual recently following an Absa Premiership match against Bidvest Wits at Milpark, a game Bakgaga won 1-0.

“The PSL has charged Baroka FC coach, Thoka Matsimela, with contravening the NSL compliance manual. Mr Matsimela failed to attend a mandatory post match media press conference media mixed zone after Baroka FC played Bidvest Wits. That was on 6 August, 2019, at Bidvest Stadium. We will make further announcements on this matter in due course,” PSL communications manager Lux September said.
