Sekhukhune United veteran Willard Katsande is the oldest to have troubled the scorers after the former Kaizer Chiefs star netted against AmaZulu last month at the ripe of 35 years, 9 months and 12 days.
That puts him ahead of former teammate Bernard Parker who has rediscovered his goalscoring form for the Amakhosi after a two-season-long barren run and already boasts three goals for the campaign.
Parker's most recent goal, a well-taken header, came during Chiefs' win over Maritzburg United on Sunday and saw him claim the second spot on the list at 35 years, 8 months & 5 days.
Marumo Gallants' Lerato Lamola claims the third position on the podium after he opened his scoring account for the season with the match-winning goal in Saturday's surprise victory over SuperSport United.
The former Golden Arrows front-man adds his name to the mix at the age of 35 years, 5 months & 3 days, which makes him the only other player aged 35 or older to feature among this season's goalscoring golden oldies.
Elsewhere, the likes of Thamsanqa Gabuza, who has scored six times for the campaign, Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele, Thamsanqa Mkhize and Amigo Memela also feature.
