Baroka FC chairman Khurishi Mphahlele says the club still has to make a decision on whether to keep Thandani Ntshumayelo for next season.

The midfielder's future with the Telkom Knockout champions seems very much in doubt after making only one appearance in the Limpopo sides's fight against relegation.

The former Buccaneer joined Bakgaga in March 2019 on a short-term contract that expires at the end of June, but it seems the club are no longer sure about exercising the two-year option they have on him.

According to sources, there are those inside the club that are not happy with the contribution he has made. has only made one appearance in all competitions.

The 29-year-old recently returned to PSL football after serving a ban since 2016 for using cocaine.

"Hey, we will see," Mphahlele responds when asked by KickOff.com if the player will be kept for next season.

"We will see, I can't say yes or no now. He never plays, he never plays... I cannot say yes or no. We are still going to assess the team. His contract was short-term."
