According to a source close to the Mpumalanga-based club, former Bidvest Wits defender Ashley Makhanya is also set for a role at the club under Tim Sukazi's new regime.

Tyron Damons, also formerly of Bidvest Wits, is set to join the club as goalkeeper coach while current head coach Mabhuti Khenyeza will be retained despite the incoming changes.

"Mabhuti Khenyeza is not going anywhere. The club boss Tim Sukazi values his contribution to the club very much," a source tells KickOff.com.

"He will be given a new role in the club together with Esau Mtsweni [former Mpumalanga Black Aces midfielder]."

The Rockets are set to use Mbombela Stadium as their home venue in the new season.
