Two PSL clubs tracking Callies star

Premiership

Former SuperSport United and Ajax Cape Town striker Thabiso Nkoana has attracted interest from DStv Premiership clubs Chippa United and Maritzburg United.

Last week Nkoana scored a hat-trick for Pretoria Callies in their 3-1 win over Mangaung United in the semi-final of the ABC Motsepe League playoffs.

Despite losing to Bizana Pondo Chiefs in the final, Nkoana's three goals helped him walk away with the golden boot award while his teammate Keorabetse Sebona was crowned the player of the tournament.

According to a source close to the player, both clubs have enquired about the 28-year-old former University of Pretoria centre-forward.

"Chippa United and Maritzburg United are racing for the top scorer of ABC Motsepe, Thabiso Nkoana," the source tells KickOff.com.

Neither club could be reached for comment.
