Swallows agree deal with Pirates

Premiership

Swallows FC have completed the signing of midfielder Austin Muwowo from Orlando Pirates.

Muwowo, who has been starved of game-time at Pirates over the last two seasons, has joined Monnapule Saleng on a season-long loan deal at Swallows from Pirates.

Saleng recently signed with Bucs during the off-season from Free State Stars will also look to find his feet in the top-flight with the Dube Birds for the 2021/22 season.

Swallows boss David Mogashoa has expressed his excitement about the new arrivals in the Bird's nest.

"We lost Sekgota to Chiefs. Saleng is a perfect replacement. You must also remember we signed [Khethukuthula] Ndlovu on the left side of the midfield," Mogashoa tells KickOff.com

"The coach is looking for more energetic players with the new system he intends to introduce this coming season."

Swallows FC are yet to make a decision on duo Mark Mayambela and George Lebese, who are still training with the club.
