Swallows to sign ex-Chiefs target

DStv Premiership debutants Swallows FC are preparing to unveil their latest new signing Kgaogelo Sekgota.

The Dube Birds have remained one of the busiest teams during the transfer window period after signing the likes of Sifiso Hlanti, Thabo Matlaba and Musa Nyatama to name a few.

Swallows have since agreed terms with former Bidvest Wits winger Kgaogelo Sekgota and the player is expected to be unveiled in the next few days.

Club boss David Mogashoa has confirmed his team's desire to sign Sekgota.

"Yes, we are busy finalising his paperwork and we are confident that he will be playing for Swallows this season," Mogashoa tells KickOff.com.

The 23-year-old was linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs before the club's appeal against their FIFA transfer ban was dismissed.

Sekgota was one of Amakhosi coach Gavin Hunt's regular players at Wits last season during his loan spell from Vitoria Setubal in Portugal.
