Swallows close in on next signing

KickOff.com can confirm that Swallows FC are in the process of completing their third signing ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Former Cape Town All Stars and Stellenbosch FC midfielder Dillon Solomons is set to return to the DStv Premiership this coming season.

Solomons started training with the Dube Birds a few days ago with a view to signing with the Soweto outfit following his departure from Stars last season.

According to information gathered by this publication, the 22-year-old winger is set to sign a three-year deal.

Club boss David Mogashoa has since confirmed the presence of Solomons at their camp  but declined to divulge details of his signings.

"He is training with the club. The technical team like him. He is due to undergo medicals," Mogashoa tells this website.

"We are still waiting for a report of the other players that are still being assessed, before making further announcements [around signings]."

Swallows earlier signed former Orlando Pirates midfielder Thandani Ntshumayelo and Khethukuthula Ndlovu from Uthongathi FC, while former Kaizer Chiefs star George Lebese is also being assessed.
