Tokelo Rantie's search for a new club continues after the former Orlando Pirates striker failed to sign with Swallows FC.
Rantie had been training with Swallows for the past two weeks in the hope of impressing promotion-winning coach Brandon Truter.
However, the technical team has decided against signing the former Bafana Bafana international.
The 30-year-old, who trained under the watchful eye of Pitso Mosimane at Mamelodi Sundowns last year, also failed to win a contract with Bloemfontein Celtic in recent weeks.
"I don't think the coach is signing him, he is no longer training with us," Swallows chairman David Mogashoa confirms to KickOff.com.
The Dube Birds have, however, made a positive decision to sign former Bidvest Wits defender Keegan Ritchie, who was also being assessed.
The 30-year-old joins a long list of experienced new acquisitions at the 2019/20 GladAfrica Championship winners.
