Swallows shelve discussions with Chiefs

Swallows FC have shelved all discussions about transfer issues until the end of the season.

Swallows are set to lose some players at the end of the campaign with top defender Njabulo Ngcobo being the biggest transfer story for the off-season.

Ngcobo has been linked with both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, with the former reportedly leading the race to sign the former Uthongathi FC centre-back.

Another player set to leave the Dube Birds at the end of the season is Sifiso Hlanti, who is said to be joining Amakhosi.

Swallows boss David Mogashoa has since pleaded with the media to stop linking players to other teams as it is disrupting his team.

"A lot has been said [about my players by different media]. There has not been a team that has put down an official offer except verbal discussions," Mogashoa tells KickOff.com.

"Everything related to transfer of players has been shelved until the end of the season. We still have a plan of finishing in a top-four position and all this transfer news is disrupting our progress in the team."
